What is ISES?

The International Student Energy Summit is a global, multi-disciplinary forum that focuses on the future of energy from a student perspective. The inaugural ISES took place in Calgary, Canada in 2009 and was attended by 350 students from 30 different countries.

Do the students who attended ISES Calgary ’09 still stay in touch?
They sure do! Through the ISES Facebook page, Twitter and newsletter that is sent out biweekly. Many of the students are still personally in touch with oen another and are collaborating on projects around the world!

How can I get ISES updates?

Simply sign up on the bottom right of the ISES website and you will be added to the ISES mailing list which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

When and where will the next ISES take place?

Being that the planning committee is made fully of volunteer students, there must be a strong base of students and support from the academic, political and corporate community in the host city where the next ISES will take place. Student delegates interested in hosting ISES 2013 should contact Kali Taylor at ktaylor@studentenergy.org.

I still have more questions, who do I contact with further questions?

Email info@studentenergy.org or contact the chair of the Calgary planning committee at ktaylor@studentenergy.org.
